Procedure Text

Procedure text contains goals and steps to make or do something related to that goal. The function of this text is to show how to do omething through successive steps so that the reader can reach his goals. So in procedure text we explain how to make something or do something in order and neat.

Procedure text has several characteristics, namely:

1. Use the simple present tense
2. Using an imperative sentence which is a form of sentence that is usually used to give orders. For example: Don't mix, turn on, cut into slices etc

2. Food Recipe. For example: How to make fried rice, How to make lemon tea)
